Пополнение на Illphabetik Recs

Напомню, что последний обзор новых релизов Illphabetik Recs я публиковал 12 мая этого года. Спустя четыре месяца, один из моих любимых нет-лейблов, разродился еще четырьмя релизами.

The Scythian - What Is Tommy [ILL032]

Your back is soaked with sweat, pressed to the side of a dumpster. Spent shell casings bounce with the sound of metal rain. Your feet kick out, pushing you as flat as possible against the cover. In one of those strange moments of clarity, mimicking conversation, the alleyway goes quiet. The wasted clip hits the concrete with an empty clang, echoing through the haunting silence. You’re reloading. Your teammates are reloading. So are the others at the end of the alley. In the ringing of your ears, you hear frequencies, echoes of gunshots acting as percussion. Atmospheres that have never existed before. Melodies that sound otherworldly. You realize, as your heart slows down, that you are smiling.

This is the experience given to you by The Scythian. In this world, in this block war, he is every gun. Every scream. Every ricochet. He is the inevitable rain that comes to wash the blood from the streets, and cool those who survived. The storm and the calm. He conveys this all with a clarity and eloquence that will grab you and never let you go.

Listen, reload, and enjoy.
Severin Von Haubtkopf - USAcid [ILL033]
Severin Von Haubtkopf takes you through miles of fiber-optics and satellite transmissions, bouncing his drums and synths off of every piece of circuitry you encounter. Picking up samples of lost signals. Futuristic and energetic, crafted to perfection. Severin has created an album that might just be the next wave of acid.

This album belongs on the dance floor. It belongs in the apartments of hackers, as inspiration for their programming. It belongs right here, in the iLLphabetik library. It belongs in your collection.

Imagine compiling a computer virus, then sending the data through sound generators. Resulting in unexpected but surprisingly symmetrical noise. This album is that virus. Severin is the compiler. And you are the system that will be infected by it.
.exe - Maskexe [ILLEP039]
.exe’s Maskexe. is not what you’d expect from this catalogue. It’s our first actual clubbing release. With a sound of experimental minimal tech house, .exe pulls an atmosphere of big city dance floors crowded with people dancing and sweating. No one who likes breakcore aught to like this for its semi monotones nature, but anyone who likes music can appreciate these tight and skilled productions.
Au2pilot - Autodidact [ILLEP040]
Au2pilot has tapped into the thought process of robotic assassins to create this new EP for iLLphabetik. A rare form of structured chaos, at once beautiful and disconcerting. Drum programming as frantic and perfected as can be. Haunting samples and synth noises from a distant future. Even a glitchy and alien re-imagining of Radiohead’s “Nude”. This EP is an aural blitzkrieg, waiting to assault your speakers and mind as soon as you click play. And you will be glad you did. Au2pilot will make you cringe, shiver, dance, and smile. All at the same time. All while wondering what he’s going to do next.
Enjoy.
